How long do Permanent Cosmetics last?A number of factors can effect retention predominantly dependant on your skin type and aftercare diligence, however pigment selection, needle configuration, technique and method play a part also. Brows you would expect upward of 18 months or longer with the right pigment selection - eyeliner and lips can vary from 1 to 5 years. -
What do you actually do? Is it like a body tattoo?A specially designed pigment is inserted with a tool (digital machine or microblade) into the upper reticular layer of the dermis, due to the specific size of the pigment molecules you will require periodic maintenance..... - STILL AWAKE? :) Essentially pigment is placed into the skin, the pigment requires a colour boost in time - which also allows for changes in fashion, personal taste or changes in skin and hair colour :) There are a wide number of different needle types, some so fine they are designed to mimic the width of a real hair! Happy days for hair strokes! or for that perfect powder brow. Body tattoo pigments are made with a different sized molecule, hence they do not require periodic maintenance.
