Consultations & how they work

I have always offered In Person consults, however, if suitable you can opt for a Video consult for your convenience.

​

In Person consults are mandatory in some cases i.e. if you are a "new to me" client who has existing permanent makeup from another artist. This I will want to see In Person.

​

As video consults may be new to you, I have created a step by step guide below, to walk you through the process.

Your Step by Step Guide to Video Consultations

STEP 1

Request a free, 15 minute video consultation with me, to discuss a permanent make up treatment.

​

STEP 2

Send a clear makeup free photo (short video clips are often easier) of yourself, preferably via WhatsApp, clearly showing the area you wish to have the treatment.

 

STEP 3

To book your consult you will need to share the following information:

​

  • provide the full address for where you would like your Patch Testing Kit to be sent

  • complete a secure online Pre-Consultation Questionnaire (sent to your email address - if you don't see it, please check your junk mail)

​

Consultations require a minimum of 72 hours notice to allow your patch test kit to arrive.

​

All video consultations require access to a video connection/webcam, good lighting, a stable internet ​connection, a patch test kit and a mirror. Please ensure you have all these things before booking a consultation.

​

STEP 4

Your Patch Test Kit will arrive via post. This will include a small amount of each of the products to be tested and full written instructions. It is essential that the patch test is completed during the video consult and not before. I am required to watch you carry out the patch test to ensure it is administered correctly.

STEP 5

You will receive a reminder of your consultation with a link to access the meeting,  at which point you should ensure you have everything ready for your consultation.

STEP 6

We carry out your video consultation where we will discuss the treatment you would like to have in more detail, perform your patch test and answer any questions you may have.

STEP 7

Following the consultation you will receive a Patch Test Results form, which you will need to record and return. In the unlikely event of a reaction, please remove products immediately - this will of course be included in your instructions but now you have read it here too :)

Subject to a successful patch test (and providing I don't deem it necessary to assess you face to face) you may book your treatment, pay your deposit and secure your initial treatment slot!

STEP 8

START COUNTING DOWN HOW MANY SLEEPS TO GO UNTIL YOUR TREATMENT 😀

OPTIMISE YOUR CONSULT:

​

A few little checks to make sure you get the most from your consult:

​

  • A phone or web camera - that you know how to use! 

  • Good lighting - natural if possible

  • Stable wifi/internet signal

  • Patch Test Kit

  • Mirror

  • Clean hands, and a spare pair if you need assistance

  • Be Makeup Free - ideally!

  • Minimal Tan... I know ;)  ... minimal sun/UV or tanning products

Please note:  A face to face consultation may be required if I feel it necessary to assess you in 'real life'.
